ONZ Award winners

Congratulations go to Wairarapa’s Loopline Olives on taking the coveted Best in Show award for the second time. Akaroa producer Robinsons Bay was named Reserve Best in Show, just pipped for the top award by half a point, while The Olive Press was awarded the Best Processor trophy for the fourth time.

All up there were 19 Gold, 43 Silver and 33 Bronze medals awarded, with only seven entries receiving no award.

ONZ EO Gayle Sheridan said Head Judge Giuseppe di Lecce had judged at several international competitions this year and rated the New Zealand EVOOs as “comparing very favourably with the top oils worldwide”.
