Wairarapa success as region cleans up olive oil awards

It’s a long way from the Mediterranean, but Wairarapa’s extra virgin olive oil growers are taking on – and beating – some of the industry’s biggest names. The region had a golden time at the recent New Zealand Extra Virgin Olive Oil Awards, scooping up 44 of the 95 medals on offer.
