Add your voice to Hort Innovation Virtual AGM – Friday, November 28
Hort Innovation, Australia’s grower-owned research and development corporation for horticulture, is holding its 2025 Annual General Meeting on Friday, November 28, at 12:00pm AEDT (9am Perth, 11am Brisbane, 11.30am Adelaide). All Hort Innovation Members are invited to attend and take part, to help shape the future of Australian horticulture.
The AGM will cover business including:
- Chair Report
- CEO Report
- Financial Statements and Reports for FY25
- Election of Directors
- Proposed changes to the Constitution

Member involvement
All Hort Innovation Members are invited to attend the AGM virtually and ask questions (written and verbal) in relation to the business of the AGM and the management of Hort Innovation. For time efficiency, members are encouraged to submit questions in advance of the AGM. This includes questions for Hort Innovation’s auditor, which must relate to the 2024/25 Financial Report.
Visitors are able to watch the AGM but cannot vote or ask questions.
Voting
All Voting Members are entitled to submit their votes for the following two items of business, or alternatively appoint a proxy:
Board candidates: There are four candidates vying for two vacant Board positions. Voting Members will elect the new directors via a pre-AGM ballot, with results announced during the AGM.
Deadline for voting is 5.00pm (AEDT) on Friday, 21 November 2025.
Special resolution – Changes to Constitution: A Special Resolution will be voted on, proposing a number of changes to the Hort Innovation Constitution dealing with changes in legislation and the new Statutory Funding Agreement entered into between Hort Innovation and the Commonwealth.
Deadline for voting is 12.00pm (AEDT), Wednesday, 26 November 2025.
