New FTA with Peru opens gateway to Latin America

The government has launched negotiations to open new markets to Australian farmers through a free trade agreement (FTA) with Peru.  Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce said that the industries expected to benefit from the agreement included the kangaroo meat industry, beef, horticulture and wine.
