Town unites for olive harvest

The town of Hallett came out to support two much-loved residents last Saturday, with an inaugural olive picking day. Annie and David Cope have been living in Hallett since the early 2000’s, after falling in love with a property surrounded by olive bushes. The olive bushes on the property would never be enough to turn into a commercial venture, so the land served as a labour of love and family reunions.
