More than 60 oils were entered by 27 producers for judging in this year Royal Canberra Extra Virgin Olive Oil Show, increasing exhibits by a third and doubling the number of exhibitors at the 2010 Show. Major awards went to: Champion Oil of Show – Rylstone Olive Press Cudgegong; Best Commercial Oil – Rylstone Olive Press; Best Non-Commercial Oil – Rusty Gate Estate Picholine; Best Local Oil – Alto Olives Alto Vividus; Best Flavoured Oil – Homeleigh Olive Grove Rosemary and Thyme Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
