New label laws in EU from July

From July 1 2009, all virgin and extra virgin olive oil will have to be labeled with the country of origin under a new European Community rule, as seen in the May/June edition of the Australian & New Zealand Olivegrower and Processor.

There are now 2320 wine-producing companies in Australia according to the 27th annual Australian and New Zealand Wine Industry Directory recently published by Adelaide-based company Winetitles.

Olive industry fund management planning workshops
