Harvey orchard back in business

Alta Vista olive oils are back in production. The scenic orchard at the top of the hill east of Harvey is undergoing a facelift. Its products were once the first choice for many of the nation’s top chefs … Kurt Haunold and his wife Shenai have moved back to the family farm to restore it to its former glory. They are in the process of recertifying it as organic through the Biological Farmers Association. The production of extra-virgin olive oil is now in full swing.
