Entries open for Olive Japan EVOO Competition

Entries are now open for the Olive Japan 2016 International Extra Virgin Oive Oil Competition, being held in Tokyo in April. A multi-faceted event, Olive Japan also incorporates a Practical Sensory Science Seminar, featuring experts from across the globe including Australia’s Paul Miller and NZ’s Margaret Edwards. A second core event follows in July, the “Open Marche” open-air market bringing together olive oil producers and consumers/trade, and showcasing the 2016 winning oils.

Key dates are: Registration deadline – April 11, 2016; Seminar – April 17; Judging – April 20-22; Results announced – April 25; Open Marche – July 8-9.
