The Fleurieu Olive Harvest Open Day is on again this year, being held on Sunday, 7 May from 10am-4pm at Nangkita Olives, Tooperang, SA.  This fun, family event offers the change to learn all about olives – pick, plant, prune, press and pickle – with a host of the best local growers and allied food producers from the region. Learn to make and identify extra virgin olive oils, pick your own olives, go on free hay-ride tours of the property, take interactive cooking classes, or put the kids on the hay ride and enjoy a glass of wine, spitted local lamb and wood-fired pizzas.
