Australian olive growers report high yields and top quality as harvest draws to a close

It has been a solid year for Australian olive growers, with the industry producing almost 20 million litres of high quality oil this season. National production figures are almost five million litres higher than last year. However, the crop fell short of the 22 million litres bottled during 2013. Australian Olive Association CEO Lisa Rowntree said fruit quality had been impressive across most growing regions.
