Rain-spoiled olive grove is good news for goats

For the first time in eight years, Broken Hill’s olive grove sits unpicked. The former mine site is known for producing award-wining olive oil, but soaking rain in the region has had an adverse effect on the orchard. Gary Ferguson from Broken Hill Gourmet Products Co-op said a downpour had bloated ripe fruit.
