Australian olive oil has dominated at the industry’s most prestigious international awards. Australian extra virgin olive oil producer Cobram Estate was awarded one best in class, two gold awards and one silver award at the New York International Olive Oil Competition. Other Aussie winners were Cape Schanck Olive Estate, L’Uliveto Verde, Gooramadda Olives and Alto Olives – which won a collective 15 awards.
And congratulations also to New Zealand producers Azzuro Groves and Lot 8, who both won gold awards at the NYIOOC. We’ll bring you more on our local success in the June edition of Olivegrower & Processor.
