Fleurieu Food Fiesta! Olive Award Winners

Major winners in this year’s competition were Diana Olive Oil and Coriole Vineyards, who each received three awards. Winners by category were: Oil – Fleurieu Peninsula EVOO Regional Challenge: Gold – Diana Extra Virgin and Diana Novello. Small Producer’s Class: Silver – Minko Gold. National Olive Oil Challenge Award: Bronze – Primo Estate Joseph First Run, Primo Estate Joseph Cold Press and Auburn Olive Oil. Olive Oil Best of Show : Diana Extra Virgin. Table olives – Emmanuel Giakoumis Kalamata Award: Brian’s Gourmet Olives. Australian Table Olive Challenge: Gold – Coriole Vineyards Koroneiki; Silver – Coriole Vineyards Verdale; Bronze – Cicada Verdale. Table Olives Best of Show: Coriole Vineyards Koroneiki.  The Punter’s Pick Award went to Minko Gold.
