Olive harvest gets under way

Olive harvesting has started in the (Marlborough) region, with Seresin Estate being the first to get its fruit through the Marlborough Olive Press today. The press, in the Riverlands industrial estate, near Blenheim, processes fruit from around the district. It opens its doors today, and will be processing Seresin’s organic olives this morning. That will be followed by fruit from Awatere River and other suppliers.
