Neighboring states selling bootleg Qura olive oil

Beirut: Olive oil farmers are incapable of selling their produce due to the high competition from neighboring countries, said Karim Bou Karim, head of the union of Qura municipalities. “Traders are buying olive oil from neighboring countries by labeling it as oil from Qura while Lebanese farmers are stuck with their produce,” he said at a conference held at Balamand University Friday.
