Locals provide olives for oil

Residents of Son Servera have collected some 11,000 kilos of olives which the town hall will make into oil. They were collected by corporation workers and taken from the municipal warehouse to an oil press to maintain the town’s tradition of making its own olive oil, which once bottled, will be given to local residents. This is part of the ‘Oli d’Oliva de Son Servera’ program which aims to prevent people from abandoning the countryside.
