Italy launches first olive sector plan

The State-Regions Conference, a coordinating body of government and regional territories, approved the first National Olive Sector Plan that should be implemented by the end of summer. “€32 million has been invested to help the reorganisation of the sector, which will be supported by the regional funds for the agricultural development,” the Minister of Agriculture (MIPAAF) Maurizio Martina announced.
