Istria wins most successful olive oil region in the world…again!

Davut Er, head of Olive Oil Exporters Union, said Turkey can’t compete in the foreign market with prices that were around TRY14 (USD4.78) per litre, compared to TRY8-9 in Spain, TRY6 in Egypt and TRY9 in Greece at the beginning of this season.

Flos Olei 2017, the new edition of the annual catalog for the best olive oils (and also considered the olive oil “Bible”), has named Istria the best quality olive oil region in the world – for the second year in a row!
