Balingup olives go gold
2013 has proved a stellar year for olive oil producers Malcolm and Sue Lee of Tarnagulla Farm Balingup.
They were awarded a gold medal and best in class for their frantoio/leccino blend at the Southwest Olive Association award dinner in Bridgetown recently. This comes on top of their kalamata/volos blend receiving the highest award at the Perth Royal Show last month. Against all entries in that competition, its score of 94 from a possible 100 points earned a gold medal, Best in Class and Best Oil in Show.
