Al-Jouf olive complex provides seeds and training to farmers

The Kingdom has established an olive complex in Al-Jouf, with more than 30 of the world’s most important and popular varieties, to provide seeds and technical expertise to farmers in various parts of the country. This provides support for farmers in olive-producing regions in the country. Olives are an important source of food and a good source of healthy fats. These efforts are part of a larger project to develop the olive industry in the Kingdom currently being implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture and the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
